The DISC Assessment for Children and Early Teens
Kids DISC can be used for children and early adolescents ages 8 to 12.
What is Kids DISC?
Kids DISC is the assessment designed specifically for children, early adolescents, and the important adults in their lives who mold and shape their social skills. It leverages the science behind DISC and presents the four styles in a fun and interactive way that draws kids in.
The Four Bird Styles
Kids DISC is the assessment designed specifically for children, early adolescents, and the important adults in their lives who mold and shape their social skills. Parents, teachers, coaches, and group leaders can use Kids DISC to teach children and early teens ages 8 to 14 in a positive and memorable way.
The assessment is called “Which Bird Are You?” and frames the DISC styles using entertaining and colorful birds:
• The Eagle is the D Style.
• The Parrot is the I Style.
• The Dove is the S Style.
• The Owl is C Style.
Page 7 of the Kids DISC Report provides a summary of each of the Four Bird Styles.
The birds make learning about personality fun, engaging, and memorable. Children and early adolescents learn about their styles, the styles of others, and how to appreciate everyone.
Kids DISC Report
The bright DISC Kids Report helps children build their social and emotional skills in a way that’s fun and exciting for them.
It also helps teachers, counselors, parents, and other adults interact effectively with each Bird Style to create positive learning environments and enriching childhood experiences.
The Assessment Standards Institute (ASI) provides verifiably objective testing and reporting that meet standards set by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This battery of tests is both voluntary and verifiably transparent.

Information Required at the Time of Purchase
At the time of purchase, the following information is needed:
- The complete names (first and last) and e-mail addresses of all the children and teens completing the assessment.
- The complete name (first and last) and e-mail address of your organization's Contact Person. This person will receive copies of all the assessment reports once each assessment taker has completed it.
Delivery of Your Receipt
Immediately upon receipt of your order and payment, you will receive a receipt detailing the assessments purchased and the information you provided.
Delivery of Assessment Links to Assessment Takers
Within one business day of the date of your purchase, each assessment taker you listed at the time of purchase will receive an e-mail with a link to complete the assessment online. The Contact Person will receive an e-mail confirming the assessment links were e-mailed.
If additional information is needed to deliver the assessment links, it will be requested from the Contact Person.
Business days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m. PST/PDT, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Delivery of Assessment Reports to Assessment Takers
Immediately upon completing the assessment, each assessment taker will receive a copy of their robust, personalized report.
Delivery of Report Copies to Contact Person
If you provided the name and email address of a Contact Person, that person will receive copies of the reports for all assessment takers that have completed the assessment.
Management of the Process
Once the links have been delivered to your organization, the Contact Person or another person within your organization can work with your team members to ensure they complete their assessments.

Price is Only for the Assessment and Report
The price listed here only includes the Kids DISC Profile and corresponding report.
No Refunds, Returns, or Exchanges
Melena consulting Group has a policy of no refunds, returns, or exchanges on assessments purchased from us. We will replace materials with the same product version only when the materials are defective or there are problems with workmanship, and a written request for replacement is received via e-mail at CustomerCare@melenaconsulting.com within 30 calendar days after purchase.
